Martini salmon is a fairly simple but really tasty grill recipe.
You let the salmon marinate in the spirits for a few hours, and then it’s smoked at a low temperature with apple wood.
I saw the recipe many years ago on the show License to Grill. I don’t remember much of the original, so I threw together something similar.
Here I make a plank out of lemon slices. It keeps the salmon from sticking to the grate, looks nice and adds a bit of flavor and moisture to the salmon.
If you want to try more smoked salmon, we also have our birch-smoked jalapeño salmon. You’ll find internal temperatures in our fish temperature guide.
