A really simple grill recipe that often impresses at the dinner table.

Goes with almost any dish

You’ll need a few medium-sized yellow onions.

• Cut the top off the onion.
• Then cut deep into the onion, but not all the way through.
• Make cuts that look like a star.

Sprinkle on some of your favorite rub and grill indirectly until it starts to open up like a flower. When it’s a bit dark on the surface and soft all the way through, it’s done.

Served as a side with any grilled dish.
