Thought I’d present my favorites among store-bought rubs.
Sure, making your own rubs is easy, but it’s nice to have a few ready-made ones in the cupboard that you know you can trust.
If you want to mix your own as well, you’ll find the top 10 BBQ rubs to make at home.
The brand I use most and think is the very best is Cowtown’s rubs.
They also come in some fun packaging, and since I’m a sucker for good-looking packaging, that’s a plus!
It comes in 4 different varieties.
You can find these varieties at www.grillhouse.se, which has a big selection of great rubs, sauces and grilling accessories.
ALL PURPOSE RUB
This is a rub that suits most things.
Use it on meat, ribs, chicken or fish.
It works everywhere.

STEAK RUB
This rub works nicely on meat, but on vegetables too.
A tip is to put a little in your Bloody Mary for some extra flavor.

SWEET SPOT RUB
This is my favorite among the favorites.
It’s one of the reasons my bacon explosion is so popular.
A fairly sweet but strong rub that works great on most things.
I sometimes use it to rub potatoes, which I then cook on the grill.
My ribs get a round of this one too sometimes! 🙂

SQUEEL HOG RUB
Specially made for pork, but works great on both chicken and vegetables.
